Drummond Island Trail Report – 12/16

SNOW GAUGE & GROOMER REPORT – (12/16/16):
The Official Snow Gauge is reading close to 12 inches overall! But remember, the gauge is located close to the Four Corners and our snow depths vary depending on where you are on the Island.

West End: The groomer was out on the west end of the Island yesterday. While there is approximately 12 inches of snow in town he says on the south end of the island there was only about 3 inches. There are large water holes on the west end of the island that have not frozen yet.

East End: The groomer is going out on the east end today but this end normally takes longer to be ride-able as it has more water holes and gets even less snow. Cindy will give us all more details later today after she hears back from Paul.

Remember it takes less than 20 mins for hypothermia to set in once you’re wet so use extreme caution near trail water holes.
