KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Western UP Trail Reports – 02/02
I took a ride down to Rousseau to meet some friends today (02/01/2024) for lunch. Just couldn’t go without getting a few pics of trail 12. Don’t even think you can do it on a sled. It’s really showing the warm temps everywhere.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Clear skies this evening will give way to increasing cloud cover overnight as a weak disturbance moves through the region. This will bring a slight chance (15-25%) for some light freezing drizzle Tuesday morning, but expect most locations to stay dry with no widespread impacts. The weather has been pretty crazy the past week and a half. Hopefully it will settle down and stay cold for the month of March. Looks like another busy weekend with the hill climbs in South Range. Plus the dog sled races in the Keweenaw.

Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
