Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 02/07

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort – Good evening Kruppers!
Drove up from Minnesota today and checked out the trails from the road and starting from Hayward all the way up through Hurley/Ironwood and by Lake Gogebic to Berglund and on to Bruce Crossing and Mass City to Twin Lakes- every trail and Trail Crossing looked like a tabletop and smooth as silk- all from the road tho- and it’s Wednesday!
Sled traffic all the way up looked VERY light!
Weekdays are obviously the best but I have to say”high five” to all the fine folks that take care of all the trails!
I’m sharing a pic of trail 3 Crossing on M26 just south of Twin Lakes!
I would say get out there and enjoy the trails!
Off trail riders- it’s plenty deep out there but a fresh foot would make my day!
Sounds like the lake is about half frozen so we need some big wind and warmer temps to keep the LES guns a flyin!
Have a great night!
