Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 02/21

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort – Good morning Kruppers!
Well we have picked up about 7” in the last two days and more last night and I would say 2-3” without an official measurement!
So almost 10” sure helps!
Sounds like we might have a lull in the snows and then Friday it should start up again and possibly 5-8” on Saturday so things are looking up “the old fashion” way with system snow without help from the LES guns!
We have a bluebird start with crisp temps to start this “Snowhump” day!
Groomer folks are doing their thing for ya all and offtrail conditions are pretty dang good considering the dumb BIG lake is froze up!
If anyone knows the “icebreaker” dance please get on it!
Kruppy really wants his Second ball covered up with snow this year!
Here’s a wave from Shackie across the street!
Have a great day!

Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 02/19

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort – Good morning Kruppers!
Well our plows have been on standby for quite a few days in a row now but things look to change soon!
We picked up a coating overnight and looks like this afternoon we start getting system snows and will continue through Wednesday!
Amounts won’t knock your socks off like the Lake effect seems to do but we should be plowing anyway!
1-3” today 1-3” tonight and so on…. through Wednesday!
Let’s hope it’s on the higher ends this time eh?
A foot + would be nice!
With the Big lake froze up so much
Kinda makes Kruppys backyard just average for snows!
The nice thing is we haven’t lost much so there is still plenty of the white gold in these parts!
Happy Monday now go make some money so ya can have your weekend fun in the snow!
