Hi everyone. If temps allow we are going to send a groomer North to pinestump tonight. On my drive in this morning there was still a good amount of snow on the trail right along 123 by the logging museum. Thats a good sign that the rest of the trail should be ok as the snow typically gets deeper as you go north. Temps are going to be cooling off the rest of the week as well. In the mean time enjoy this amazing picture of our friends up in Houghton at the Portage lift bridge.

Trail Update 12/16/2024
Good morning. Nothing much new to report today. We saw a bit of a warm up yesterday that will continue through today. Clubs have parked their groomers for now. It looks like after today temps drop back down below freezing and grooming should resume. This should make for a really good base. We also have the potential for some snow tword the end of the week. The season is really shaping up to be a good one.
Anyone wanting to get a quick ride in this weekend we do have some openings. Call and book today. 810-531-1344.

NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via Halfway Lake Cottages, LLC >> When they closed the doctors offices last night because of conditions then we woke to about 6 inches of snow on top of ice, Chris decided to stay home. He spent 5 hours plowing then we went for a ride. We took 9 to Pine Stump and back and it was an amazing ride minus the sleeping child riding with me! We passed the groomer on the way there and on the way back! The picture of our backs is actually from the TASA page! Hey - it’s a family picture! 😂 #newberry #snowphotos

You may have been one of the few groups I saw today. Pretty sure I saw you on 9 today. My favorite trail in Michigan but it has taken 5 of my helmets peaks this winter. I plan on doing some brushing this summer on 9.
