Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association Report – March 16

Trail #9 Trail is in fair condition.

Trail #45 Trail is in fair condition.

South Trail #9/2 Trail is in poor condition

The last trail that was groom was Saturday night to Pine Stump and back. We cannot groom the south trail due to lack of snow. Trail #45 has a wet spot and mud between M-123 and CR 500. We will not be grooming again unless the temperatures get colder and there is new snow.

Newberry Trail Report – 03/12

Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association Report – March 12

O.K. here’s the update. Riders came off trail #9 from pine stump to Newberry, said the trail was good.

Curtis groomed from NBY to Rexton last night on that section of trail #9 and said there is snirt coming out and from the warm weather’s thawing and freezing, there is a lot of ice.

Trail #45 to the falls is in good shape and Jim is grooming it tonight.

Woody is grooming #9 out to trail #8 and back.

Keep an eye on the local forecasts, possible rain and mix of snow coming up.

I know everyone would like a definitive response to weather and trail conditions however this time of year things could change in a spring minute.

We will continue keeping them groomed and in the best condition for those who like the late season riding. Who knows, in like a Lamb, out like a Lion.
