Newberry Trail Report – 12/11

December 11, 2017

Snowmobile trails are officially open and we have 3 to 10 inches of snow the farther north you travel. We are not grooming due to the wet areas that are not frozen and not enough snow.

North Trail #9 There is about 5 to 12 inches of snow on the ground but the gates in Newberry are still closed.

Trail #45 The gates are still closed on this trail and we have a several wet areas that need to freeze before we are going to be able to groom. I do not recommend riding this trail until we receive more snow and start grooming.

South Trail #9/2 This trail has to 3 to 5 inches of snow on the ground.

Newberry Trail Report – 12/08

Not bad, got another 3 or so inches today.

Talked to someone who rode trail 8 from rainbow lodge to grand marais and trail 9 down to here he said all was pretty good.
