Straits Area Trail Report – 02/23

9am update

As of now we still do not have enough snow to groom out of St Ignace. We are gonna groom from moran north and from Cut river area to Trout Lake.

Ride with caution as everything is ice underneath of a couple inches of fresh snow. More detailed update tomorrow after we see what the rest of today brings and we groom tonight.

Cadillac Area Trail Report – 02/23

CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Caberfae Peaks Resort – 2/23

Snow Day at the Peaks! We received a solid 6 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours. The forecast is calling for another 1″ today and a high of 28 degrees.

The forecast for the upcoming weekend looks outstanding with more snow and a high of 22 on Friday, mostly cloudy and a high of 30 on Saturday, and Sunshine & high of 34 on Sunday.

We’re in the heart of Winter Storm Olive! Have gotten about 6” so far … the wind is blowing so much it’s hard to tell.
Thankful for some more white stuff!! ❄️❄️ We’ll give an update tomorrow too!

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Accumulating lake effect snow will continue tonight for parts of eastern upper and the NW lower snowbelt. An additional 1-4 inches is expected for parts of the county with localized amounts in excess of 8 inches possible near Sault Ste. Marie and Brimley. In the NW lower snow belts, additional snow of 2-4 inches in some spots is possible as well tonight.
