We groomed to holland lake and to Rexton Tuesday night but did not groom last night as we had no new snow yesterday. We plan to groom all trails tonight. Remember when you are on the side of a road always ride on the right side!
Trail 9: did not groom last night but did groomed on Tuesday night. Logging operations are finished and county roads 415 and 422 are now being groomed but snow is still a bit thin. good.
Trail 498: Not Groomed last night but was groomed Tuesday. Good.
Trail 45: Not groomed last night. Fair. there is about 5 miles of dirt from skyline to camp 7 rd. There is logging on the trail shortly after you jump on Trail 45 just past the Logging museum off of M-123. There is also be logging about 3 miles North of Skyline Road off to the right. Please use extreme caution in these areas! Both portions are being plowed and could be bumpy or rutted. Very Good in spots
Trial 9/2: Not groomed last night but groomed to Rexton on Tuesday night. Conditions being reported as fair.
Thank you to all the team at the groomers barn who puts in countless hours to keep the system groomed and maintenance on the machines!

PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org >> 1/1/26 HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!!!! 12 degrees this morning and cloudy. I`ve picked up 4-5" of snow between yesterday and last night here at my place and "they" are calling for 3-6" more today! A big plus is that it looks like this weather pattern will stick around for at least another week! I`ve got lots of good news on the trails and just a tad of bad so lets get to it........ First all the good.....We have been VERY busy since my last report. Last Tuesday`s run around the Point trails went very well. Quite a few downed trees but the boys got them all taken care of and the trail groomed up nice. We`ll rate it at really good! Groomer Keith ran to Da Stump Tuesday and said the drifting was "interesting" to say the least thru "Siberia". He did get it all knocked down and only got stuck 3 times!! Now for a little bit of bad news.....the loggers have got our section of trail #9 plowed down to dirt. This section runs from Pine Stump east to the east branch of the Two Heart river plus a little beyond, about 10 miles worth total. They also have a section of trail #8 just west of Crisp Point plowed down to dirt for about 4 miles. This is unfortunate but hey....they have to make a living too and I am not knocking them. They should be all done in a couple weeks. The rest of the trail is in great shape. That wraps up Tuesday....on to what went on yesterday...... Groomer Keith went back out on trail #8 to da stump to clean things up. Haven`t heard from him this morning yet but I`m sure everything went fine. We sent 2 machines out on trail #8 heading south. We skipped our infamous swamp and started at the river mouth. The trail turned out BEAUTIFUL except for one 100 yard spot on the south end of the power line. There is some open water and mud there and its kinda tough to get around but can be done. With the cold weather and snow predicted it should freeze up in a few days....just keep a heads up. What surprised me the most is the Federal Forest section froze up solid! We left the gates open so we`re good to go in there!!! We are taking today off and will head to the Falls tomorrow and try to get that passable.....IT IS NOT PASSABLE at this time so don`t go around the CLOSED GATES. After the Falls trail we will head into the swamp south of town. So there you have it....a complete run down of our system. LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Groomer Chris #paradise #newberry ... See MoreSee Less

SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – 02/23
Good afternoon! Anyone in the Soo and surrounding area, please comment on snow totals so far. I’m out of town still so I have no idea. Groomer Mike P hit trail 49 from the Soo to Kinross and back AND even made it through the beaver pond with zero issues!🙌🏼🙌🏼 He sent these pics from his run today. Looking 100% better than just the other day! Thanks Mike! Hope the snow and cold continue!❄️❄️❄️

Good morning all!
Groomer Pete sent us this report after his run on the city trails last night.
“City is groomed. Had a guest from one of our commercial supporters. Zach from Allstar Marine & Powersports wanted to see what was involved with grooming. He was a great guest and he learned a lot about the process. Maybe he will start volunteering!
Anyways, I would grade the trails as good. The 3” of fresh snow Monday certainly helped, but there is still a lot of ice out there. The city plowed the north side of the airport, so there was a lot of ice and dirty snow covering half the trail. It’s better now, but please be careful going towards the I500 track and Holiday Inn. There may be some ice chunks on the trail. Looking forward to seeing how much new snow we pick up the next few days. Forecasts all look promising!”
Thank you Pete and Zach! Always awesome to have new volunteers! ❄️❄️❄️

SAULT STE. MARIE AREA UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association >> 12/31 Happy New Years Eve! Snow is ongoing in our area. I show around 3-4” new snow in the Soo so far, reports in Brimley of at least 7” new snow. A word of caution- we do not like to send groomers out during the day, but sometimes we do not have a choice. Kenny and Jim will be headed out to tackle 889 in the Bay Mills area around noon today. There are many trees down and heavy drifting. It will undoubtedly be a long run for them, and the main goal is to get things opened up. Pat is out early south of Kinross on 494. 472 west to Tilson should also be done today. As a reminder, we cannot groom past Tilson Rd on 472 due to construction equipment. Please be on the lookout for the groomers, and if you’re able to move small branches safely, we appreciate the help! Subscribe to Groomer Tracker to see where the groomers are in real time.
