We got 2-3” of fresh powder overnight! It’s absolutely beautiful this morning ❄️❄️ Rode trail 677 to Caberfae Peaks for breakfast! Ski slopes are amazing too! ⛷

To better access the forest trails, you’ll want to use one of the Staging Areas below:
33 Rd Staging Area–S of M-55–approx.. 3 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)
Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)
Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery
Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Happy New Year, northern Michigan! Accumulating lake effect snow will continue today into tonight, mainly across Chippewa county. CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort >> Trail Conditions: Good -Fair in places; Base: 2-3"; New Snow Last 24 Hrs: 4"; New Snow in Last 72 Hrs: 12" +
Happy New Year! Snowmobile trails are mostly passible in all sections, but grooming is still quite challenging with the ice-covered branches still hanging so low. We're hoping regular grooming efforts will start tomorrow. Most sections have been hit once since the storm. #cadillac #snowphotos
