» Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 03/18Weekend riders all enjoyed their rides. On Sunday morning everyone had ridden at least 100 miles the day before. There were places on the trail – especially up in Vanderbilt where it was down to the dirt.
We are under a winter storm warning starting this afternoon thru Tuesday evening.
Well what do you know……We are 2 days away from spring and under a winter weather advisory. We could have lake effect in our area by tomorrow and a possible 8-10 inches by Thursday. We had a great weekend of riding and the groomers kept our trails in good shape. As long as we continue to get snow and cold temps we will be grooming. Trails open until March 31st.

Hi all! Happy Hump Day! We got snow! WE GOT SNOW! Just in the last 24 hours we have gotten between 3-6′ for fresh snow! Trails are great! These cold temps, especially at night have given us another chance at great riding, hopefully right thru the weekend! Groomers are out Maple City to Honor today and will be out tonight on Trail 3 North and South of Kaleva. So – we got more riding, and groomers will be out as long as they can too if temps stay down!
