Trails are open ~ grooming is being done! Trails have at least a 5 ~ 6 inch base ~ we have around 26 to 28 inches of snow in and around the Gaylord Area! With a chance of snow ever day for the next 7 days! Trails are in ‘GOOD ~ EXCELLENT’ condition.
The snow is beautiful, the trails even more beautiful. The last few days were very quiet on the trails. They have maintained their flat smooth glistening of snow.
Rides in all directions were good. However, trail 4 starting on the west side when you get out of Lakes of the North/Antrim county has not been groomed at all this season. So from that point to Starvation Lake is rough.
Once you get onto the Blue Bear its back to a beautiful ride.
There will be lots of riders over this weekend. Enjoy the outdoors, and ride safe.
