» Houghton Lake Trail Report – Korbinski’s Lakeview Motel – 12/09we have received around 5 plus inches of fluffy snow , add that to our all ice trails and you have the start of a great base . just need a bit warmer temps and some wet heavy snow and our trails will be ready for riding . The lake is shaping up nicely and I even seen a few sleds out riding on it today , and alot of ice fisherman out with quads and sleds ,
Definitely looks and feels like winter outside! Its been snowing most of the day. The trails are covered, and there is enough snow to ride. A few people had been thru the trail and its still covered white. I measured about 4 1/2 – 5 inches.
Snow continues in the forecast thru several days. If this continues it should be riding time for everyone.
