Dec. 17 – Things are looking good on the north trail today!
Grand Traverse Snowmobile Club – 12/16
A few inches of fresh snow fell last night. It is currently snowing and 3-6′ is forecasted to fall tonight. Groomers were out tonight, and will also be on the trails grooming tomorrow. We got a report from a couple of sleders out in fife lake that they had rode the trail from kalkaska just behind the groomer and it was done great riding!!

Ranch Rudolph – 12/15/13
Trail Condition: Fair to Good
Base: 0 to 2 inches
Groomers Running: They went out to pan trails and will not be heading out again until we get some more snow

Trails are open as of December 1st, although the Ranch caters to private holiday parties this time of year and we do not officially open for our snowmobile season until December 26th. Trails are in decent shape for being so early in the season. Trails are covered, although there is no significant base. They are somewhat icy underneath, so be safe out there! We look forward to seeing you on the 26th!

Trails are in pretty good shape. We have been getting constant snow for the past week. The trails have been groomed and there is a good base. We talked to several riders and took a little rip ourselves. For the most part we are seeing a great base. There are some spots in the high wind areas that the snow is a bit minimal. We did get anywhere from 3-8 inches last night which will only make things better. Looks like the trails will be in great shape for the upcoming holiday week. We are expecting the temps to stay cold with more snow in the forecast.
We do have plenty of rental sleds available for the Holiday week so give us a call.
Don’t forget to update your trail permits! Be safe out there and please be aware that the groomer could be right around the corner.
