Cadillac Area Trail Report – Cadillac Trails – 12/22

Just got the official word that we are to begin our full grooming schedule. Also just spoke to the groomer who just returned from grooming the Boon to Mesick route this morning and he reports the trail remains good to excellent. He did not groom the railroad grade south of Mesick as there wasn’t enough snow on it yet.

We picked up an additional 3-4 inches overnight and so far today. Conditions should be great for winter sports for the next week or two.

Sault Ste. Marie Trail Report – 12/22

About 15 degrees this morning with lite snow out of the East and breezy. We are supposed to get 2-4 inches all together but the wind is drifting it. The trails are in fair shape but not much base and this new snow will add to it. Still wet area between Kinross and Raco but the rest of our trails are good riding. We groomed part of Paradises trail to the west of us because the swamp is too wet to bring their drag down thru it, about 5 miles on trail #8.
