Indian River Trail Report – 12/30

Where has this day gone? It’s been crazy with snowmobilers everywhere–a great thing! Trails have tightened up nicely thanks to cold temperatures yesterday and even colder today. We also received a couple inches of fresh snow to layer over the solid base. Traffic was quieter yesterday but picked up again today. I just saw a groomer go by, so the trails will soon be excellent once again. Here’s to another great day of riding in the beautiful north. Enjoy the trails and drive smart out there! To join or renew Grooming Club membership, send your email to info@indianriversnowmobiling.org or visit www.indianriversnowmobiling.org. Thanks to your support we’re building our groomer ‘barn’ and will soon have a new facility where we can store and work on the equipment!

Base: 6 inches
Snowfall Past 24 hours: 2 inches
Last Grooming: Sunday night, 12-29-13

Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 12/29

Yesterdays sunshine and mild temps made the trails sloppy yesterday afternoon. The cold air returned early this morning. Its been lightly snowing thru the day. Snow and cold continue in the forecast for this week.

Riders returning tonight are reporting some rough riding. There were alot of riders the last two days. It wasn’t just Gaylord trails, it was the surrounding areas. Jordan Valley and west was very rough. Hoping groomers get out tonight and smooth things out
