Cadillac Area Trail Report – 12/30

All three groomers have been running double routes each day to try to smooth the trails out from the heavy weekend traffic and softening snow on Saturday. Fortunately, the warm spell only lasted one day so we didn’t lose much snow. You may find snirt in places where the trail is narrow and deep in the forest but for the most part the trails remain white. The in-town trail looks pretty snirty in spots but is still snow covered. We could sure use some snow now to help clean things up. We’ve gotten pretty spoiled the weeks before Christmas with 2-4 inches of fresh snow every day. Since Christmas, we only seen a dusting.

Overall trail conditions: Good to Excellent
