Lake Gogebic Trail Report – Lake Gogebic – 01/21

January 20, 2014

More snow over last night and through today combined with very cold temperatures (another polar vortex?) are making for excellent conditions on Gogebic Area Grooming trails! We’re expecting highs in the single digits and lows below zero for the next four days with more snow predicted each day. Groomers are reporting no problems on our trails and snowmobilers in the area are reporting great trail riding. So pack those long johns and head up here for some beautiful mid-winter riding at its best! This weekend looks like a slight warm up (20?) with more snow. Is there any such thing as too much snow? No way!

** Mark your calendars for The Lake Gogebic Chamber of Commerce sponsored Radar Run on February 1st, to be held at the Gogebic Lodge. **

That’s all for now from Carolyn at the Hoop. I will keep you posted as often as conditions change. For additional information about the Lake Gogebic area we invite you to visit the only official website of the Lake Gogebic Area Chamber of Commerce at www.LakeGogebicArea.com or call us at 1-888-464-3242 (888-GOGEBIC). From all of us here at Lake Gogebic have a great ride as well as a safe ride.
