Indian River Trail Report – 03/20

Yesterday’s freezing rain in the morning gave way to wet snow in the late afternoon. We ended up with about 2′ of snow and temps below freezing overnight. Current temps are still under freezing and we might see 32 for a high. It’s cloudy and quiet out there on the trails. Conditions are a mixed bag of good to fair, with ice in some spots and slush in some others. There’s plenty of base left, especially in the woods. Tomorrow will take another bite out of the base if we reach the forecasted high of 45. Until then, have a great day and thanks for checking in!

Base: 9 inches

Snowfall Past 24 hours: 0 inches

Last Grooming: Nightly as temps allow, except for Tuesday (equipment night)

Current Trail Conditions: Fair

Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 03/19

I think its time to give up on this winter sledding season. Its been raining all day. There is still some snow on the trail in spots. There is also dirt and water.

We have sure enjoyed this year! No one can complain. Plenty of snow the entire season. Its the best winter that we always wish for…

Spring, Summer and Fall to enjoy. Then hopefully another winter like this one.

We enjoyed each and everyone guest we had this winter.
