Last Week to Ride!
Marquette County snowmobile trails officially close for the season April 1st, this means there are only 7 days left for riding! Trails still remain in good condition, and 2-4 inches of snow are expected for Wednesday evening into Thursday evening! On top of that, temperatures are forecast to remain fairly mild for the week, so snow loss due to melting should be at a minimum.

This is it, if you want to ride the Marquette County trail system this season time is running out, plan your ride today!

The snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open. The groomers are out and the trails are in very good condition. Remember to watch out for the groomers when you’re out on the trails, they have the right of way!!

Trail 122 from Lake Linden to Gay is closed for logging. Gay can be accessed on Trail 124 or Trail 133 out of the Lac La Belle area.

The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the snowmobile trails are there for the riders’ safety. Please, DO NOT remove or destroy these signs.

Please be aware that if you snowmobile on U.S. Coast Guard property you could face federal trespass charges.
