Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 02/27
It’s not getting any better. We did have a few new flakes fall overnight to add about an eighth of an inch of new snow to the little we do have. I have seen sleds already this morning in Frederic and there were quite a few around town yesterday.
Conditions reported from good to poor. Pics below are from some friends that went to the u.p. yesterday, they started out in Paradise and rode over to Newberry. Its already at 32 this morning. Thanks for checking in. Pete

JORDAN VALLEY AREA UPDATE via Jordan Valley Trails Council >> Monday update:
Pisten Bully is still down on trail 4/76. NDA ordered Wednesday showed up Saturday afternoon. Crew got out there Sunday but found more damage and parts were ordered today.
If you happen to find this boogie wheel between Alba and trail 76 north of Elmira please notify us, we need to get our hands on it. New part is on order and scheduled to be in tomorrow.
If all goes as planned trails will be back in shape by end of the week.

The Swamp has been busy all day and its saturday and that makes me think about Frederic Inn prime rib. Went down to Houghton Lake last night for the second friday night at Tip Up Town. I havent been down there in 30 years or probably more. Once a year the State Police come thru Frederic on the train to catch riders doing rail road trespass which can be as simple as being to close to the tracks so the moral of the story is STAY AWAY FROM THE TRACKS. Usually the train has a MSP sign on it but it did not today but I did see a sheriff car following along on old 27. They have been thru twice this afternoon and it was just 2 engines which never happens any other time. Not to much else to say. Thanks for checking in. Pete #gaylord #snowphotos
