GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – 02/28
From Tom who ran trail 8 east last night-Trail was beat from temps and traffic. Turned out good with a few corners icy.
From groomer Mike L-west is groomed to Sunrise grade 888 to Adams trail she is not the prettiest girl in town but she ain’t Helga’s ugly sister either

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Expect a few light lake effect snow showers in the NW wind snowbelts through this morning with minimal additional accumulations. Warmer weather is in store for midweek with highs in the 20s and even into the low 30s in the far west. Two rounds of light snow are expected from Thursday to Friday morning. 11 degrees this morning under partly cloudy skies. I got about 2" of fresh snow on my deck from last night. Nothing new to report on the trails except the loggers are done out by Pine Stump now, we`ll whip that in shape today and all will be good in sno-mo country! Our entire system will be groomed today, all trails are in GREAT SHAPE!!!!
My biggest question is....where is everybody? Its been slow all season U.P. here.....even on the weekends. Ya`ll are missing out. COME ON U.P.!!!!! Quick report as I`m heading out the door to go grooming.

She likes 7MPH tonight, should give an indication why we're Not much into stopping for oncoming traffic.
