LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 12/26
We’re excited for the New Forecast of 6-10. We will not be going out tonight as normal. We will be out as soon as there is snow to move. Hopefully by morning. Expect Groomers on trails during daylight hours tomorrow, as long as the projected system hits.

6-10 inches in the Forecast for Sunday Night through Monday. It’s needed so say the least. Early season riding is the only way to describe the trails at this point. Sticks, stones, and wet spots.. We have some nice stretches of base, and your rough areas as well. Ride, don’t race, and be SAFE!!!

ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via Hamilton's North Coast Adventures >> Riding across the Ontonagon River bridge on trail 12 is a sight to behold! You soar 80 feet above the river on a dedicated section for motorized vehicles to use, how awesome is that?! It's one of the tightest groomer sections we have that provides very little margin for error. It's also a great view of Lake Superior, the Trapp hills to the south, and really lets you know how pro-snowmobile Ontonagon is. It's a tremendous destination full of amazing eateries like Up north cafe (best pancakes on planet earth), Syl's Restaurant, GiGi's Coffee and Sandwiches, Connie's Coffee and Subs, and of course the famous Roxey's Bar and Grill! Temp's remain cold with light snow seems like daily. Our operator that went up 102 last night had reported very poor visibility but once you get up in the hills, that's pretty much been a common theme this season.
Trail's covered last night/this morning. 102, 8w, 8e and 13s. Trail's are in good to great shape! Get out and Enjoy...
