Groomer Warren out of the Raco and Bay Mills area was able to get a groom in while it was below freezing early this morning. Here’s what he had to say-
“889 , powerlines, courtesy trail, started at 4 am. The only wet patch was along lakeshore dr by the casino, two turns saw a little dirt and the rest looks good. Laurie and I are riding it this weekend🤙🏾🤙🏾”
Thanks Warren! Maybe the last run in our area but only Mother Nature can decide!

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Extremely cold temperatures and wind chills continue today into Saturday morning while lake effect snow continues over the NW wind snowbelts. Frostbite can occur in less than 10 minutes on exposed skin in this weather. Good morning! Bryan and his son Logan hit the city trails last night and also 49 down to 7 mile and they turned out great! The little streams behind Kewadin Casino are still flowing (see the video in the comments) even with all of the cold, but our bridges have made a huge difference in there! There is one spot along the Kewadin trail that is soft and we keep filling it in as best we can. Likely a nonissue for the weight of a sled, but worth mentioning.
