KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort >> 02/27
2/27/25 Josh and I went out grooming last night- we waited as long as we could to go out so it had more time to set. Started at 11 and tucked the groomer in at 4am, it started with flurries at 3am ❄️ There were a couple wet spots on the edges of 3 corners but otherwise the trail came out pretty smooth! Letβs hope these temps stay low and the snow keeps falling! Stay right, stay safe, stay on trail – have fun! 🇺🇸⛄️❄️

The proceeds are going to take some of the groomers and a guest out for dinner this week. A special thanks to Val and Jerry for hosting the dinner at The Pit Stop Bar & Grill in Greenland. I will continue to post during the off season so you all can see the beauty of the UP during the other 3 sessons. β οΈ Stretch Western UP Trail Reports Web Cam video.nest.com/live/4BKmS6XRiT#keweenaw... I keep seeing all the posts about springs here and the snows all gone. Dont put your snowmobiles away yet ladies and gentlemen!
I went for a little spin this morning to see how things help up to our few warm days
There is a lot of snow on the trails still. The groomers werenβt out yesterday so the trails are bumpy. Iβve seen them a lot bumpier. I would guess the clubs will all be out tonight itβs supposed to get cold
The videos are of trail 9 going north of pine stump towards trail 8, trail 8, and trail 9. The trail going north towards trail 8 is the best itβs been in years! 8 has plenty of snow and was bumpy but not terrible . Trail 9 going south has plenty of snow but was bumpier than trail 8 for sure. They should all get groomed up nice tonight and be ready for a good weekend!
We are getting into early spring conditions. Towns will probably be a little challenging.
We have a bunch of parking out back for anyone that needs it. Then youβre in the good snow!
This weekend should be good and next weekend as well.
We are prepping for the vintage show on the 15th. The first half of March should be good and I bet you can ride until the end of the month unless something crazy happens!
