The groomers have been out and the report from the operators is that the trails are in pretty good condition. Most of the backwoods areas got a lot more snow than closer to the lake so we have enough for good grooming. Get out there and ride! Be safe.

The groomers have been out smoothing what little base there is. I was through the Valley yesterday and the snow was very ridable with only a few bare spots at the bottoms of some corners (hopefully I got those covered. The trail from M^^ to the Valley intersection was very snirty but pretty smooth. The portion of the US131 trail that I was on yesterday was in good shape. John A. tells me that the snow is very good on the connector trail. The North Ten will be groomed this evenning. Have FUN and be SAFE.

The snowmobile trails from TwinLakes to CopperHarbor are open, and groomers are out working on them as temperatures allow. Trails are reported to be in poor to fair condition due to high traffic, warm temperatures and low snow. Trail usage should be done with care until we have better snow cover. Remember to watch out for the groomers when you’re out on the trails…….they have the right of way!!
There is logging on a short portion of Trail 133 between Gay and Lac La Belle.

The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the snowmobile trails are there for the riders’ safety. Please, DO NOT remove or destroy these signs.
