Traverse City Trail Report – Blue Sky Snowmobile Rentals – 12/31

Unless your sled has wheels and mudflaps you won’t want to ride today or tomorrow. Temps in the 40’s today with light rain. We are expecting a good stretch of cold and snow starting on Sunday! That’s good news for those of us who have let the chaos of the holiday pass before getting out to ride. The trails took a bit of abuse from the holiday traffic, however, the groomers did a great job keeping our base in shape for new fresh snow. Some areas have seen a bit more abuse than others. The peaks of the powerlines and high traffic areas are down to near dirt so new snow will be welcome this week. We did have some good early season riding and did see many smiles throughout the week with Holiday riders loving the experience or riding our great trail system.

Be safe and watch out for the groomer !
