Petoskey Snowmobile Club – 01/04
Current Trail Conditions: Poor
Mother Nature is back from her vacation and we are seeing more normal temps for the season. Everything is freezing up again and lake-effect snow has been coming down. We’ve been getting an inch here, couple inches there. No huge snowfalls but every little bit helps. We’ll need more before we can start grooming again.

The snowmobile trails from TwinLakes to CopperHarbor are open, and groomers are out working on them. Trails are reported to be in poor to good condition with some wet areas and some low snow areas. Trail usage should be done with care until we have better snow cover. Remember to watch out for the groomers when you’re out on the trails…….they have the right of way!!
There is logging on a short portion of Trail 133 between Gay and Lac La Belle.
The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the snowmobile trails are there for the riders’ safety. Please, DO NOT remove or destroy these signs.
