Better Trails Now – New Snow Finally! In the last 36 hours, give or take, we’ve received some good snow. I’m looking at about six inches of new snow on our snow gauge here at Heart Lake Resort. The trail rating can easily be upgraded now from poor to fair to fair to good in most areas. You’ll find some really good snow in the protected areas and in the back country. The forecast over the next few days is looking good as well – go to NOAA.gov and plug in Gaylord, MI. The temperature now is 23.1 on our digital weather station. We have quite a few riders here this weekend. Winter is back. We had snow thru the night. The winter weather advisory will end at 11 am this morning. Good News – the groomers were out late last night. Trails are in good condition. It is time to get those sleds out and blow off the dirt. 7 Day Weather forecast finally looks like a real winter forecast. Snow everyday. Bring it on. Hope to see you on the trail
