Gaylord Area Trail Report – Heart Lake Resort – 02/29

Trail and Snow Report – Wednesday, February 29th (30.1 degrees – 11:48 am)
With this new snow that we’ve been getting, the trails have greatly improved. I would easily rate them from fair to mostly good – finally. The back country and two-tracks are excellent for riding. There is still more in the forecast today on top of the four to six inches we’ve already received from the middle of last night. I can say it’s definitely worth a trip up now. Snowboarding, downhill and cross-country skiing in our area should be really good as well. If you ever need more information or an honest trail report, whether you’re staying with us or not, please feel free to call. If you need a place to stay, please give us a call as well. We are now booking for Spring Golf Groups, your Family Reunion for Memorial Day Weekend and Summer Family Fun. Thank You. Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 02/29

Happy Leap Day! And a very, very, very windy Leap Day it is on the Keweenaw. Not snowing here yet, but I hear it’s doing a good job of it a bit south of us. If you’re out on the Keweenaw today, on a snowmobile, on skis, or even in a vehicle, be careful as drifting and low visibility can occur with the high winds, especially if and when it starts snowing. Watch out for groomers and each other! Ride Safe! — Via
