MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails >> 01/25
This cold may be brutal, but it sure works wonders for making solid trail! Looks as if we are getting past the extreme cold, so riding should be a little more enjoyable. We ran the full length of 8 tonight, so whomever gets up early and braves the cold will have an amazing morning run! Please ride right and ride safe. We want you to have an enjoyable time, and someone wants you to come home.

-A system arriving this morning will bring snow, sleet and freezing rain through early Friday morning.
-Moderate to potentially major impacts are anticipated from the combination of snow, freezing rain, and sleet. High travel impacts are expected along with possible power outages and tree damage.
-A second system moves through the area Friday night and Saturday bringing another round of mixed precipitation. Similar impacts are possible.

At this time, there has been a significant decrease in snow amounts and a trend toward higher ice accumulations.
