More snow and cold last night! Trails are setting up fantastic!
Groomed:
Trail 137 from Ontonagon to Rockland.
Trail #13 from Rockland to Trail #101.
Trail #101 to Trail #12 @ Potato Farm Rd.
Trail #13 to White Pine.
Trail #1 from White Pine to Lake of the Clouds.
Trail #11 (South Boundary Rd.) to Trail 102.
All were reported in very good to excellent condition.

❄🇺🇸 4-6″ of fresh snow overnight!🙌💪
😵💫It just isn’t stopping! We can’t say this enough, the current snowmobile trail conditions in our corner of the U.P. are the best they have been in 5+ years.
🤯Trail crews from North Country Snowmobile Club UP did a number on the system over the weekend. They widened and straightened trails, filled tons of holes/depressions to level riding areas out. Just spectacular work! We did a 7 hour volunteer groomer run across nearly 60 miles of their system last night to help out. Trails were found to be in amazing shape, seriously come and enjoy whats here!! Traffic is tremendously low!!
⛽ We typically burn 60-100 gallons of diesel a night per groomer!

-A system arriving this morning will bring snow, sleet and freezing rain through early Friday morning.
-Moderate to potentially major impacts are anticipated from the combination of snow, freezing rain, and sleet. High travel impacts are expected along with possible power outages and tree damage.
-A second system moves through the area Friday night and Saturday bringing another round of mixed precipitation. Similar impacts are possible.

It’s been another great winter of riding here in the Western U.P., and we want to thank everyone who helps make these trails possible.
A huge thank you to:

❄️ The landowners who allow trails across their property
❄️ Our club members and supporters
❄️ The businesses that support the snowmobile community
❄️ And the riders who respect the trails
Remember that after March 31 the trails are officially closed for the season, so please stay off the trails once they close to protect them for next winter.
