HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> 03/20
Last night we groomed the railroad grade from Alanson to Mackinaw along with the trail behind the airport. The run started off with it snowing & then it turned into freezing rain & then into a down pour as he got north of Carp Lake. We were able to cut a lot of the bumps out but with the rain & warm temps it won’t take long for them to appear again.
Temperature are not looking good for grooming until Sunday night. If something changes & we can get out before then we will!
Only 11 more days left of the season!

Slick roads likely in some areas into this afternoon with ice accumulations on elevated surfaces. This time last year, we weren’t even sure that we would have a season after the historic ice storm that destroyed much of our trail system.
Fast forward to now… we just wrapped up a RECORD season! For the first time in years, we were able to groom pretty consistently from the very first weekend all the way to the end. What an incredible turnaround.
