There was no snow predicted for this weekend, well surprise! We picked up about 4 maybe 4 or 5 inches last night. Don’t be fooled though underneath the fresh snow the trails are hard and icy in some spots. The warm up is still on the way for next week, but the trails are still in good shape for now. The side rails on one side of the bridge on the charcoal grade (Trail 45) are missing. It is currently taped off on the one side and signs will be placed to slow down approaching and crossing the bridge! We will groom all the trails late today and tonight. 11 degrees this morning under partly cloudy skies. I got about 2" of fresh snow on my deck from last night. Nothing new to report on the trails except the loggers are done out by Pine Stump now, we`ll whip that in shape today and all will be good in sno-mo country! Our entire system will be groomed today, all trails are in GREAT SHAPE!!!!
My biggest question is....where is everybody? Its been slow all season U.P. here.....even on the weekends. Ya`ll are missing out. COME ON U.P.!!!!! Quick report as I`m heading out the door to go grooming.

Workin her pretty hard to get what you want, but we are.
She likes 7MPH tonight, should give an indication why we're Not much into stopping for oncoming traffic.

Minus 5 degrees this morning under a cloudy sky. No new snow in the last 24 hrs. but we do have about 3 feet of snow on the ground so no worries...LOL. Here`s whats been happening since my last report a couple days ago......
No bad news...the machines have been running beautifully....Mother Nature has been cooperating perfectly....and our trails are EXCELLENT!!!!
The Falls trail #45, the Point trails #452 & #453 and the South trail #8 all fall into that catagory. The only blip on the radar is on the Pine Stump trails #8 & #9 but it is only minor. Our section of trail #9 is still being plowed down from the Stump to the East branch of the Two Heart by the loggers. It is no big deal, just take trail #8 around instead of #9, just like the old days. Its a touch longer but you`re out there to enjoy the ride.....right? On the bright side, they are done up by Crisp Point but it will take us a couple trips to get that back in great shape.
Where is everybody?? Its been awful slow around here. COME ON U.P., You are missing out!!
