Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/17
Well certainly nothing new to report, no new snow overnight, very dead around here and in town yesterday. Only had 2 sleds ride into here yesterday and saw maybe another dozen out and about yesterday. Even only sold one trail permit on saturday. That has to be a record low. I have heard from several people that snow is better at houghton lake and down to harrison and over to cadillac……Not the MLK weekend any of us wanted to see. When and if we ever get snow this is a reminder to you that I have my rental cottage available to rent at Lake Margrethe….. By the weekend, a system will pass to our south Saturday and bring a round of rain/ snow to the region. As ridging builds in behind, temperatures should be warmer for Sunday, but another system is expected to move in for Sunday night into Monday.
