Gaylord Bureau – March 14, 2024 – 4:45 p.m. It looks like our snowmobile season has come to an early end. There has been little to no snow on the ground for several weeks, with temperatures ranging from 30 – 65 degrees. We hope you’ll come visit us for some warm season fun over the coming months while we wait for next winter to begin! A whole 1 inch on top of nothing. Funny part about that is there were 3 sleds that felt there was enough snow to ride. I took a pic of them over at the swamp about an hour or so ago. No way would I go out in this. Still 9 days of riding season left but I cant see any thing happening. Supposed to be 50 again this coming week. Wish I had better news. Accumulation will remain light (less than 1 inch). By the weekend, a system will pass to our south Saturday and bring a round of rain/ snow to the region. As ridging builds in behind, temperatures should be warmer for Sunday, but another system is expected to move in for Sunday night into Monday.
