It’s Thursday afternoon at 3:30 and I finally got up here to Sledheads. We had about 3 inches of fluffy lake effect overnight which helps a lot with the lube on the suspensions.

Sleds are out and about, Will it be a great weekend of riding, probably not great but I have really seen a lot worse than what we have now.

Things will be hard underneath but riders are thrilled to see how much white we have up here and if we even get just another inch or two it all helps.

The pictures of sleds below were just taken in the past hour since I got in town here except for the ice volcano that came up from the shores of Lake Huron at Bois Blanc Island. We had some rain on Tuesday but it didn’t last long as the temps dropped Tuesday night and snow returned. We have had light snow on and off since then. Snow is supposed to continue today and tomorrow. Slight warm up Saturday (35 they are saying).

Reports are that the trails have been good. They were icy in some corners but continued snowfall should remedy that!
