Groomers are parked. Trails are brown and wet with some snow in the woods. Spring came 4 weeks early! The Ground Hog lied. Let’s see what March has in store for us.

Conditions: Poor

To better access the forest trails, you’ll want to use one of the Staging Areas below:

Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.

Trails reported as fair condition by groomers, **water holes showing on trout lake run, use caution. A few snirty spots heading north out of newberry, still passable today. More snow left the farther north you go, lets hope we don’t lose it all before the colder temps and snow forecasted next weekend sat./sunday.
