“ Hello- We have received about 5-6″ as of midnight tonight! Things are looking up for an enjoyable Pres. Day weekend. Can’t comment on areas very far away, but our immediate Coyote, LPL, Boon, Mesick areas should be rideable/decent for this weekend. Expect ICY spots throughout , but we should have enough snow to enjoy the weekend. RIDE RIGHT! Pete “

We’ve gotten 2-3” of fresh snow, so far, and it’s still snowing. If we get another 2-3”, the trails should be decent!

Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)
Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery
Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.

We've seen significant amounts of snowfall since the 27th and have been running the trails 5 days straight. New and repeat customers are experiencing the playground we keep in our backyard around Cadillac Michigan. Half way to the UP, closer than Gaylord and Traverse City. Happy New Year! Snowmobile trails are mostly passible in all sections, but grooming is still quite challenging with the ice-covered branches still hanging so low. We're hoping regular grooming efforts will start tomorrow. Most sections have been hit once since the storm. #cadillac #snowphotos
