Maybe new snow coming. We had just a light dusting of new snow since yesterday but I am still sticking with the theory that conditions are poor. I have to say I was surprised at how many sleds were out and about on wednesday. Still alot of dirt on the trails and crossings but I did see alot of decent looking spots.
If you want to ride you have to just play dodge the dirt and dry spots. Weather says we may get a good amount of snow on friday. So all we can do is hope on that. I wish I had some more positive words to say. I didnt take any pics yesterday or today except for the delicous burger I had at the spot bar up in Johannesburg last night. It was burger nite and I went there on the recomondation from a lady that I had just talked to. I have rode my sled to there before but never at there. I give them an a plus…….Thats it for today. Think snow…..Thanks for checking in. Pete

FREDERIC - GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic , Michigan Snowmobiling >> HAPPY NEW YEAR - It's been a great day to ride in Frederic, Sled traffic has been steady all day. Riders stopping in for goodies and to say hi. I would say this has been the busiest day of the season with the amount of sleds that have been around. Dinner last nite at the Frederic Inn was great and you can see the five of us showing off our meat. I was in deep in sleep way before midnite. Also a shout out to the Hummell crew from Atlanta Georgia that came in to ride with their brother Francis Hummell who also is a local groomer driver for the Grayling club. #gaylord #snowphotos
