Traverse City Trail Report – Snowblitz Snowmobile Rentals – 01/12

Went out yesterday for a short 50 mile or so ride, trails were a little thin in places, overall not too bad. Off the trail on seasonal roads and power lines were awesome. At least 12’+ of good snow, really a blast.

We still have cold temps in the forecast, but not too much snow. As you head from the Ranch towards Fife Lake and Mancelona it gets better. Visit us online and book a sled direct from our web site.

On January 22 at Ranch Rudolf we are having an antique snowmobile show and free snowmobile rides, free sleigh rides, for families and NON snowmobilers, hot chocolate and more! Come on over..!! This is the Ranch Rudolf Relic Days….so free rides!

PLEASE do not call for trail conditions.
See you on the trail!
Cheers,
Brett

Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 01/12

The snowmobile trails from TwinLakes to CopperHarbor are open, and groomers are out working on them. Trails are reported to be in fair to very good condition except for the High Rock trail which is in poor condition due to low snow.

Remember to watch out for the groomers when you’re out on the trails…….they have the right of way!!
There is logging on a short portion of Trail 133 between Gay and Lac La Belle.

The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the snowmobile trails are there for the riders’ safety. Please, DO NOT remove or destroy these signs.
