Trail Conditions – Excellent; Base 3-5”; New Snow Last 24 Hrs: 5-7″
Hello – Can’t get much better than trails are right now … there’s about 3 feet of snow in the woods! Our whole system is groomed and great, and I know Wellston is good too… Thanks to all the volunteers who make our trails what they are … Riders, please take a second and pick up limbs that are often down in the trails and help save groomers several minutes of stopping tractors and getting out of the cab. Temps look good for the foreseeable future after this bitter cold stretch. Come on up and support all the local businesses in the area and remember Live Music at Coyote on Saturday, with $10 cover after 9 PM , with Natl. Artist Joe Stamm in the bar.

Highest snowfall amounts of 4-8” are expected across the eastern U.P. and Tip of the Mitt, making for slippery roads and hazardous travel. Combination of heavy snow and gusty winds may lead to very low visibility across open areas this morning. Chances for icing across parts of the area will last into this evening with the potential for freezing drizzle after the heaviest precipitation ends. 2) U.P. and Tip of the Mitt will see the most snow. Some areas of Chippewa & Mackinac County could see 5-10" of snow!
