HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 01/23
Don’t put those vintage sleds away just yet, we are hitting the trails again this weekend for the 6th Annual Beach’s Up North Tavern Ride.
Show off your vintage sled starting at 10am and the ride takes off at noon. There will be dinner and a live auction back at Beach’s after the ride.
You are not going to want to miss out on these auction items! We have about 70 items including an adult 509 helmet, Dewalt power tools, race style gas cans, gift cards & so much more. Bring your cash!!

HARBOR SPRINGS UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> 2025 Ice Storm Damage. The destruction to our trail system is overwhelming, and it will take an army to clean it up. Whether you ride these trails on a snowmobile, side by side, four-wheeler, drive them in your truck, hunt these woods, walk, or bike them, we will need your help. We have a meeting this Thursday at the Harbor Barn with the Mud Brothers & Beach’s Up North Tavern to get plans together for a trail clean up on 4/26. #harborsprings #petoskey

Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. This could lead to dangerous conditions for those without power or a safe source of heat. Does anyone have any information that would explain why Antrim County was excluded from the the governor’s State of Emergency? Are there any numbers showing ice accumulation for Antrim as compared to surrounding areas?
