HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 02/20
We had a groomer out on the west side of our trail system last night and everything was groomed other than the cross village loop (710/71 from Beacon Hill west). The railroad grade was last groomed on Tuesday, East side (Alanson / Pellston) was done on Sunday. We will have two groomers going out tonight, one on the grade, the other on the east side.
Trails are in great shape!! We have a little warm up on the way, it looks like temperatures are rising up into the mid 30’s Monday – Wednesday and then will dip back down below freezing on Thursday.

Slick roads likely in some areas into this afternoon with ice accumulations on elevated surfaces. This time last year, we weren’t even sure that we would have a season after the historic ice storm that destroyed much of our trail system.
Fast forward to now… we just wrapped up a RECORD season! For the first time in years, we were able to groom pretty consistently from the very first weekend all the way to the end. What an incredible turnaround.
