HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 01/13
Like I said, Mother Nature always comes through for us for the Safari!! Harbor Springs has 12” of snow and Carp Lake has 6”. All three groomers are headed out tonight.
Get your sleds ready, let’s set a record for the 60th Annual Moose Jaw Safari this Saturday!!

PETOSKEY AREA UPDATE via Petoskey Snowmobile and ORV Club >> Trails groomed tonight by Shane and Joe. If the weather warms above 30 degrees we won't groom until it cools down. The drag can chunk the trail leaving behind large snow balls that freeze and can hurt someone. We will be back out as soon as it gets cold again. #petoskeyTrails groomed tonight by Shane and Joe. HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> We had all three of our groomers out last night and overall the trails are in good shape. The Alanson trail still has the least amount of snow & we still have some open water holes. Great start to the season!
We have some above freezing weather coming in over the next few days with possible rain on Thursday & back to freezing on Friday. We are hoping to get out and groom again Thursday night depending on what the weather does. We will keep everyone updated. #harborsprings #petoskey #snowphotos

Matt is heading south on 76 from Chandler Hill Road to our turn around with Jordan Valley. The green dot are groomers. Gusty winds will lead to blowing and drifting snow, leading to quick drops in visibility – especially across open areas. Wind chills look to stay below zero today into tonight.
