HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> 02/13
Happy Friday!! We had all three groomers out last night and the trails are in good shape. We are running out of workable snow & could use a good snow storm but have a great base. Temperatures are currently above freezing so we will not be sending groomers out tonight, it’s not looking great for getting out the rest of the weekend either. We will keep you updated as the weekend goes on.

WEATHER UPDATE via Michigan Storm Chasers >> Snow and ice return tonight, and continue through midday April 4th, 2026. Snow totals will be the highest yet again into the Keweenaw Peninsula. It's almost a carbon copy of today. Ice totals, however, are primarily a concern for the Upper Peninsula. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Freezing rain gradually transitions to rain today from south to north as temperatures slowly warm above freezing. Slick roads likely in some areas into this afternoon with ice accumulations on elevated surfaces. This time last year, we weren’t even sure that we would have a season after the historic ice storm that destroyed much of our trail system.
Fast forward to now… we just wrapped up a RECORD season! For the first time in years, we were able to groom pretty consistently from the very first weekend all the way to the end. What an incredible turnaround.
