Sault Ste. Marie Trail Report – 03/09
The weatherman was correct, the temp slowly dropped yesterday and we have 2-3 inches of new snow on ground and temp of 15 degrees. The next few days with highs in the teens and nightly lows of single digits. Groomers are out smoothing out the drifted new snow with the icy base left after warm up. Most trails will be in fair to good shape by Friday. Road shoulders will bare quickly and watch for limbs or trees after the 2 days of high wind.

The winds are still blowing with some snow once in a while but causing big time drifting from yesterday’s snow. So watch for drifts in open areas. The groomer goes one way and on the return there is a 2 foot drift where it was smooth n hour before.
