SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – The temp reached 42 and some rain fell doing damage to trails. The temp is slowly dropping tonight and groomers will be going out Friday morning as soon as it’s cold enough. Trails north of m28 has more snow and should be ok. Around Kinross is marginal and need snow. Trails will be very icy and some wet spots may reopen.

We will wait a day or so to hit Soo to Kinross and Kinross to Raco as they need time for cold to set back in. Trails are fair to good and with a couple inches of snow they will be good and better….

SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – The weather guessers were correct with temps in the mid thirties and rising toward 40 Thursday. Maybe drizzle!😞 but back to single digits late evening Friday morning. No grooming done this afternoon of Thursday. Should be back out Friday once temp gets to freezing. Supposed to have some new snow Friday too. Road shoulders are baring off already. Our trails have enough base to survive but what shape will they be in if we get much rain…..
