Drummond Island Trail Report – 03/19
JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT WINTER WAS OVER – *BAM*! Here she blows again! Depending on where you are on the Island we have received anywhere from 6 – 8 inches of fresh snow and it is STILL coming down!

3/13/13 UPDATE: The Groomer has now been out on both ends of the Island since we had the 2 days of rain and temp getting in to the 40’s.
The WEST END of the Island is in decent shape with a few areas that have water running across them causing trenches in the trail
The EAST END between the Maxton Plains and Glen Cove should be avoided. There is standing water on the trail in the plains area and the area along the shore line has trenches about a foot and a half deep from running water due to the rain we had a few days ago. The other trails on this end are still in decent shape. PLEASE RIDE WITH CAUTION AND WATCH FOR RUN OFF AREAS!
