Cadillac Area Trail Report – Cadillac Trails – 12/19

We’re all hoping the National Weather Service forecast is correct as they predict a winter storm bringing 10 inches of snow beginning Thursday morning through Friday night. We’ll keep you advised. This could be the first weekend of snowmobiling for the season.

Snow Accumulation: None

Trails are in great shape. Our crews worked hard on them throughout the summer. Lots of the old signs were removed and some new signs put up. REMEMBER there are fewer signs in the woods this winter so when you finally do get a chance to ride, take your time and enjoy the ride. The need for speed may be costly to you and to others. Assume every trail is a winding trail and be ready for the next curve.

A reminder to those who enjoy riding the White Pine Trail, State Park officials have asked snowmobilers to ‘refrain from operating snowmobiles when less than four inches of snow cover the trail.’
